Anyone have any ideas on who might want to offer their BBQ services? BBQ Chicken might be added to the list, granted we have someone who really knows how to cook it.

I dont know how to bbq though I will be willing to help by bringing food (meats), snacks, drinks

Perhaps I will purchase a cooler so I can pack it with ice and have the drinks already in there. 'cuz nobody wants warm drinks in september

I'm open to suggestions. I was thinking maybe 4'ish in the afternoon, but then again, I don't know how dark it might get through the canyon run.

Yeah in any given terrace I think the parking lot can fit 50 cars at least, some way more than others

if i have time to this week i'll go cruise down there and check out the parking situation. i honestly think we will have well over 50 cars show up.

Reservations for Sugarhouse Park are accepted the first working day in March. Terrace reservation fees for Sugarhouse are $50.00 per half day (8am to 2pm or 3pm to 10pm) and $75.00 for a full day (8am to 10pm.)


I'm willing to pitch in what one would we want? full day??? or half day??

Also I emailed the person in charge as far as the parking situation so we can find out for sure.

Excellent. I very much doubt we'll need a full day, seeing how we're just going to use the park for a BBQ/food. Then again, it also depends on how long people want to chat/chill.

If we do stick to the 4pm showing though, then 3pm-10pm would more than suffice. Is everyone cool with this time?

Afternoon half day would be good, I'll pitch in I guess...... gotta get funds in order so I can get my contributions to the raffle prizes and money for the terrace.... I'll hit the park after work tomorrow and see which terraces have the biggest lot to terrace ratio.
