Re: Albuquerque, New Mexico Honda Squad
Hey guys, long time no talk. I've been out of the scene for a bit. My car got stolen on New Year's Eve right outside of my house. I live by the University, but it could be anywhere at this point. I drive the '89 Honda Civic Si hatchback, with a roof rack, bottle cap wheels and a teal pinstripe. If you see it or see similar parts for sale, please let me know. You can contact me at 505-203-0916. Thanks.

Damn, this thread has been dead for a while. I hope everyone is doing well. I saw your car a few months back at sadies it looked pretty nice. Sorry to hear it got stolen, good luck. There have been way to many cars stolen recently. I'll post this up in the facebook group for you, maybe someone there knows something.

It's alright. It's cold and sleeting right now haha. I sold my smashed crx shell the other day and I'm probably selling my eg soon.

Re: Albuquerque, New Mexico Honda Squad
I need one car to be the reliable one and the eg is getting older and having more issues and I can't deal with fixing two cars all the time. I'm looking at picking up a ep3 (I know everyone hates them but I don't need a race car) I'm pretty sure I won't regret it. It's never really meant something to me. Getting rid of the ef however would be very sad

Re: Albuquerque, New Mexico Honda Squad
Hey i have a D16Z6 and i'm looking to upgrade it anyone know of anywhere in town or near that might have something i can just swap it right out with. Or if their is something better that means a more complicated swap and know of someone who can do it. I'm new when it comes to swaps.

B series all the way...pick up a b20 Jdm motor for like 600 shipped to your door and I'll sell you my ls tranny when I build my motor and swaP mine out for a b16

Re: Albuquerque, New Mexico Honda Squad
where do u pick up your engines at? Now what kind of b20? b20b, b20z etc. Im looking for that edge. But like you said to where it doesn't cost a crazy amount. Do you know if the b20 swaps right out with the D16 or will i have to get someone to do the mods to put it in?

Re: Albuquerque, New Mexico Honda Squad
It's not a hard swap...motor mounts, tranny mounts, axles, and ecu has to be changed but the harness is basically plug and play I may be wrong but I think I'm rights...of course you will need b series headers and **** like that...and for price for power I say start with a b20b then save your money and later go build it into a b20v
