We'll most likely be having a meet the thirteenth around 2 pm.
Probably same location, unless anyone has some better suggestions.

Re: Albuquerque, New Mexico Honda Squad
Hey guys,
So this weekend isn't going to work out, but we will definitely be having a meet next Sunday, the 21st. Sorry about the short notice, but some things came up.
Last time we had the meet at the Dion's on Paseo and Wyoming, but we would like to meet somewhere a little more isolated. If you guys know of any parking lots or spots that aren't so open to the public, some ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks! I hope you all can make it on the 21st!
I'll get back with further details.

Re: Albuquerque, New Mexico Honda Squad
New Mexico is wonderful.
I can't say the Honda scene is amazing, but it's definitely growing.
Albuquerque is the best city in the world in my opinion. If you like art, outdoors, hip hop, good cheesy food, 20 minutes to get anywhere in the city and crazy people, this is the place to be.
By the way, SI Jeff, the meet will be on a Sunday, not saturday.

^^^ but I guess that also depends on which parts you experience. A lot of people don't like it here too. If you're into like big flashy expensive people/cities, with lots of lights and ****, don't come here.

Me and my friend considered florida but its to popular. Im a real chill dude looking to live in a chill *** place. Arizona and new mexico were my other options. I like that the honda scene isnt to big because it keeps things more tight knit and everyone is cool with eachother. sounds sweet

Re: Albuquerque, New Mexico Honda Squad
If you're looking for a chill city, honestly, Albuquerque is the place to be.
It's so relaxing to live here. There's no traffic, and it's absolutely beautiful.
There's a really good local scene here when it comes to restaurants, music and art, and most people are really cool.
Also, it's really really diverse.

That sounds real cool. Im going to look into it more. As long as there are some good skate spots around then it sounds perfect lol. I like the cars in the last couple pages, that ek4 is dope.

There's actually a lot of really good skate parks/spots, and the city is really supportive of it. This is one of them, that picture only shows like half of it though.
You should post some pictures of your car.

Btw that skate park looks pretty cool. Im more of a street kid, but parks are fun. Im glad I came on this thread, Albuquerque seems great. Hows the economy? Homes are expensive, or like are apartments easy on rent? Im sure anything is better then where im at now, NY is to much money for me.

Albuquerque isn't expensive. It's very cheap compared to most places.
I think the housing market is pretty screwed everywhere, but there are a million cheap apartments/houses because it's kind of a college town in certain areas.

Thats tight, I need something comfortable and easy on my pocket u know? Thanks, Im really working hard on my hatch though. It should look like a totally different car when im done lol. The wheels are Integra gsr wheels. I traded them while my car has been put away. They are a nice oem alternative though.

That hatch looks really clean, bro. How long have you had it?
When it comes to Albuquerque, it's everything Olivia has described. It's the biggest small town, or smallest big town...either way, it's just right. Arizona is just full of Cali scene rejects. Best place to get your car stolen. Plus, the law enforcement there is strict as hell. Speeding tickets for like 3mph over. I'd stay away from Arizona...

Nah, it's all chill. Fill My thread. lol Needs bumps.
Putting your car in a garage changes EVERYTHING!!! My car actually started making improvements instead of just maintaining, Best thing you could have ever done for that hatch.
What are you planning on getting for that thing with all your paper? And what have you done to it so far?
Here's a recent shot of my coupe. It's gone through a lot of phases. I can post them when I get on my computer. It's basiclly just got a GSR. I'm buying Function&Form coilovers for it soon though.

You can kinda see in the backround, but Albuquerque is beautiful. If you like landscapes. If you really like lush greenery like on the coasts, Albuquerque or Arizona would be way too brown for you.

Re: Albuquerque, New Mexico Honda Squad
Lol well thanks a lot man, i wouldnt mind kicking it on this thread with some chill people. Your right about putting the car away, it is the best decision to build it properly. So far my plans are to paint the car yellow, get some recaro seats, some mesh wheels, a backyard special wing and a bunch of other crap. What ive done so far was sourced a motor which was a b16a, I got a buddyclub spec 2 exhaust, miracle cross bar, and some minor stuff. its funny u mentioned F2 because i purchased some function form type 1's for my hatch also. I got more stuff im forgetting but im going to make a build thread, i will post it on here when its done with.

Re: Albuquerque, New Mexico Honda Squad
I just moved out here at the end of December. The weather is pretty nice. 4 seasons. Also the only downfall I hear is that if you register in the city of Albuquerque you have to do emissions? Can someone confirm this? I live in a suburb so I won't have to worry about that. Wish gas didn't cost as much and it would be nice to have 93 octane like in TX. Other than that it's pretty chill. If I was in between Abq and Phx I would definitely stick with Abq. Also Phx has a higher crime rate and you would have to worry more about thieves also. 115 degrees is a tad warmer than I would like
