My friend is coming down that weekend with a trailer with some bikes on and there would be room if my car needed a ride back so it would be ok. I have a spare working trans too so I could swap that if needed.

Yea, I am sure there are many people around that would help and my friend is bringing all the tools with in. I plan on bringing extra axles just in case too. Got to be prepared.

To race you have to pay a fee and have your car all up to spec's for whoever is running the race and gear for yourself. Last year at the end of the show they allowed a few people to go out for a lap or 2 with a paced car in front and no passing. There was a portable dyno.

This year I guess there will be racing, but nothing has been posted about it til its final...

You'll want to do some extra planning based on fuel mileage. There should be sufficient stations supporting E85, but you may want to bring a couple fuel cans just to be on the safe side.

Yeah, there's talks on all sorts of potential race-settings... but no definite word either way. It's going to take some time, before they've got it all fleshed out, so patience will be necessary.

I'm getting an extra tune done in the spring for 87 or 91 octane for the trip. I won't be racing or anything requiring 500hp, just cruising down. It'll be nice be back at 30+ MPG

And with Kpro, E85 tune is just a click away...lol
