FS: B18a1 shortblock NEW
I have a B18a1 shortblock, freshly rebuilt to OEM specs. Has ZERO miles on it. I was going to do a N/A build but got a great deal on a k24, so I'd like to sell.
I bought this engine already rebuilt, but I have looked over it with a fine tooth comb. Turns over perfect, clearances are all in spec.
It's a bit dirty in the pictures, but will be cleaned before sale.
:Edit:
I just found the paper I wrote the specs on, when I looked over the engine. I didn't mic anything. checked the clearances of the main caps, connecting rods, piston clearance, and crankshaft endplay. Everything was in the spec, and the crank, rod clearances were all exactly the same.
Forgot to mention, also comes with
-New oil pump
-ARP Rod bolts BNIB
Measured Specs:
-Crankshaft Main Bearing clearances

Hope this helps, if you have any questions please PM, thank you.

Would also be interested in K series parts for swap into an EF chassis. Thanks!

Re: FS: B18a1 shortblock NEW
A machine shop somewhere in NY did the work, not sure who though. Like I said I have gone through this engine myself and is in excellent condition, just needs to be blown out with compressed air and it's ready to be dropped in and turned over! It's just dusty from sitting.
I will clean the engine before it is shipped.
Has new water pump, oil pump, main/rod bearings, piston rings. It's in really great shape, just dusty cause it's been sitting in my garage.
I will also throw in a set of used B16 pistons. Like i said in my original post, I was going to use this motor for a build, but stumbled across a K24 for dirt cheap.
Shipping looks to be around $200 so say $600 shipped? Shoot me a PM if you're interested, or have any questions. Thanks.
