Default Street Mod - 15x8 offset?

I am building an EG hatch for autox. I would really like to run 245/45/15 (or 245/40/15 is I can find something) in the front and 225/45/15 or 205/50/15 in the rear. My plan is to use 15x8 wheels in the front. In the rear, 15x8 if i use 225 width tires and 15x7 if i use 205 width tires.

I plan to just raise the car until I have clearance with the fender. I am mostly worried about running enough offset to clear the suspension on 15x8s. From what I can tell from searching so far is that +24/25 is required in the rear. I have no idea what offset is necessary in the front.

who makes 245/45/15 or 245/40/15??

hoosier has an R6 that is 245/50/15. the outside diameter is pretty big though for a honda.
i wasn't aware of any R compounds currently in 245/45/15.
you could step up to the 275/35/15 hoosiers.
otherwise you are limited to 225/50/15 or 225/45/15

im not looking into the 245s anymore. yea i was originally considering the R6 and was confused about the aspect ratio. Spoke with him last night and Rodney is also an advocate for the 275s.

ive spoken with several people and still am not sure what offset i need to clear a 15x8. I may just get +25 or deeper to be safe.

not sure about the suspension diffrences between a crx and eg civic but hopefully i can help a little. on my sm2 crx i am running the 949racing 6ul wheels in a 15x8 front and rear. offsets are +40mm front and +36mm rear. on the rear of the crx +37mm is the minimum offset to avoid hitting the upper camber arm. this setup clears my rolled only stock fenders with -2.5 camber front and -3.0 camber rear. also i am running 225/45-15 front 205/50-15 rear Avon Tech RA tires. hope this has helped give you an idea of offset requirements on 15x8 wheels.

Good fitment info for 15x8 on several car models.

I fit a 225-45/15 Tech RA under stock fenders on a 6.5 in wheel with a 38mm offset.

I am running the 949racing 15x8 +40 offset with 225 Hoosier R3so4 on a 92 EG. Clearance is good. Had to roll the front fenders. I do rub at full lock on the inside of the wheel well. Car is lowered ~1.5" and front camber is -2.5".

Anybody have input for what width wheel would be good for a 225/50/15 Kumho Victoracer tire.
What offset?
These would be mounted to my 98 Civic coupe.

15x7
15x7.5
15x8

I also use the 15x8 +35/36 6ULs on my EG hatch. Clearance in the rear is close with wheel weights on the inside lip, but fine with any other type of weight. That clearance on the front does rub at full lock, and both required fender rolling. That's with 225/45 or 225/50 tires.
