I was going to put that in, but decided to just include the link
(Eastern time is implicitly implied).

Sunday looks awesome - ALMS, SPEED GT and SPEED TC.

I'm planning to go out to Infineon and watch the races on Sunday. Do I need to purchase tickets somewhere or can I just show up and pay?

Wow.....Dale Earnhardt Jr. injured after crashing his Corvette C5-R during qualifying for the ALMS race at Infineon raceway! The car backed into a wall and ruptured the fuel cell. A fire ensued and Dale Jr. escaped with minor burns and injured knee.

The video looked scary!

I'm pretty sure it was during this morning's practice. Maybe he should stick to NASCAR...

Any1 know what happened to PK? He was 2nd after Streach punted the P2 BMW. When the programmed resumed after the DEJr news break he was in P21. What happened?

BTW, the fuel sloshing onto the on-board cam in DEJr's car was wild!

LOL, freakin' Bob Stretch. Both TC races were messy but exciting to watch.

I believe Kleinubing spun and broke an axle, putting him out of commission.

What was the deal with that clip from yesterday of the BMW on its roof right at the start?

Today they said the diff went first, then a broken axle (both during yesterday's race).

Yup, hardly moved a few feet before he got punted from behind by his teammate on ended up on the roof.

I was on the phone with someone but SPEED News was on in the background (sound off), I saw the flip again, and then it shows the guy standing on the top (bottom?) of the car raising his hands up in the air as if he won!

He got "scooped up" by his teammate as Speed commentator, Dorsey Schraeder, put it.

The driving by Bob Stretch in that E36 BMW was helluva' crazy! He wickedly punted one of the Turner BMWs off in that first race and almost got one of the Realtime TSXs sideways after nudging it right before the finish in the live race. Before the live race, he was asked about his 3 race probation and he commented: "I won't change my driving style because of it". I thought that was funny because he he drove true to form.

That was probably Matt Richmond. He is quite the character if you ever get to hang out with him

That was an interesting day of touring car racing, huh? I've never met the guy in person but I don't think I've heard that Stretch is a basher.

I have a suspicion that at least part of his problems might have been a case of the regulars not being too thrilled about him wanting to be in their club...

Damnit, I can't believe I missed it. Freaking TiVo...

I don't see a repeat anywhere. Am I just missing it?

He was on top of his car showing everyone that he was ok, not as if he had won. The accident happened at the start of the race.

Does anyone have a video clip of this one the net?
