Default Rota Grid 15x7 ET40 wheel weight?

Does anyone know the wheel weight for a Rota Grid 15x7 ET40?

I found a weight of 13.7 pounds for an ET38 15x7 Rota Grid and 13.1 for 15x6.5 ET38

Also, I'm about to pick up some Rota Grid wheels... is the ET and width imprinted somewhere on Rota Grid wheels? I want to be sure they are actually 15x7 and not 15x6.5 before handing over the cash! (going to mount 225 45 15s and 6.5 is of no interest obviously)

contact rota for the weight
the size, width and offset should be cast into the inside of the wheel opposite the lug holes

as an FYI, the WIDTH was NOT posted on the inside of the wheels BUT the ET38 was (seller said 15x7 with ET40 but it was actually ET38)

The width we found out from a simple measurement was actually 15x6.5" and not 7" wide (the 195 tire didn't look correct mounted on the rim which made us suspect it was only 6.5" wide instead of 7" wide so we did not buy them)

The very best source for correct information is the manufacturer.
No mistaken information will be passed on if you call the horses mouth.

yes, that is all well and good but in this case the MFR had several options for the same wheel and I managed to find out BEFORE paying that the wheels were actually the apparently more common 6.5" wide ones instead of the 7" wide ones (were advertised as 7" wide when they were not)

Both the 6.5 and 7" wide version were available in ET38 so even the embossed ET38 was not a tell-all in this case!

Yea I understand probably one of those kind of deals where you have to snap them up in a hurry before someone comes right in behind youand now your stuck with the money but the deal is gone.
Been there before.

yup, I'm guessing someone was in line behind me who doesn't care that they are only 6.5" and so it goes...

When the width isn't stamped on the back of the wheel, you have to assume that the seller knows how to measure it, and sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. The width is measured at the bead (where the inside edge of the tire sits) as shown below, but those who don't know this sometimes make the mistake of measuring the distance between the outside edges of both outer lips. So that erroneous measurement is 0.5-1.0" or more larger than the actual width.

People sometimes make the exact same mistake with the wheel diameter.
