...if the wheel was one piece aluminum 25 offset 5x114.3? The reason I ask is because of the unavailability of cheap 15x8's which seem to be ideal for a readily available wide 15" tire like 225/45/15. I think I may have found some.

+25 seems way too much for most Hondas, but what the heck do I know. And the 5-lug would limit it to ITRs and Civics with 5-lug swaps.

15x8 +25 is 4.98 backspace. right around 5 is good
make in a 4x100 and fairly cheap and count me in. if you are trying to find some.

otherwisw ats or custom koesi from tirerack.com
is best options.

We would be interested in some 15x8 x 5 x 114.3 But we would be even more interested in 17x8 or 17x9x5x 114.3!!
We want at least 20 wheels for our new projects...

I got a good deal on these:

They were around 300 shipped from ebay for all five wheels. They are wheels from a Jeep Wrangler, and these are known as the Ravine wheels.

I was told at SEMA that ATS is still making the Comp Lites but they don't have any US distributors selling it.

the offset is 1" or 25.4mm

The backspace is actually 5.5" because an 15x8" wide wheel is actually 9" wide. 4.5"centerline plus 1" equals 5.5"

If you compare this with a 15x7 35mm offset: The front face of the Ravine wheel sticks out 0.9" more and the backside sticks out 0.1" more.
