89 civic hatch with silvia front end and headlights, need to know what type of sylvia front end this
Hi, I have an 89 civic hatch with a sylvia front end conversion, it has a silvia front end and headlights, and the car was built before I bought it. The front end was damaged in transit by the shipping company that shipped it to me, and I have tried looking for a similar front end, to no avail. It appears there are several different style silvia front ends, each having some sort of number, like 13, or 14, or 14.5, and I have no idea what these numbers mean. Here are some pics, I am hoping someone can tell me what kind of front end this is, and what year silvia it is made for. When I was looking for one, I could not find one to accomodate the lights that slope down, like on mine...
My car also does not have any high beam bulbs in it, and I am hoping someone can tell me what type I need to get, like if I went to an auto parts store what kind of car I could tell them I need lights for? Thanks for the help!

also need an answer on the high beam bulbs...

Actually its the front off a s14.5, meaning the later years, you'll easily be able to locate a usdm replacement as far as the headlights go. Your big problem will be wether that is actually a "kit" or if the body panels were combined to create that effect. If they were combined you'll need to source a stock fender for your car, and a stock fender for the s14.5, the fenders are then cut and combined, along with the front bumper being cut and combined to create that effect. Yet again, it's the same process for the hood. It takes alot of patience and ALOT of fiberglass inorder to blend the two bodylines together, a very experienced shop should be able to do it for you, however I'd be prepared to pay out of the *** for it.

Re: (the b man)
It definetly looks like it is, you can see on the hood, about even within the pins, or a little more forward where it bows in rather quickly, it's similar to the stock front of the EF hood, but appears to be at an angle farther back, it might be where it was put together. I'd be really surprised if that's an off the shelf bumper....

The OP got the answer he was looking for, so this is getting locked before it gets out of hand.
