One day I'll have a vette. I just can't have one as an only car.
I've already had two cars with vette engines, and one one with a z06 trans...so I'm like 1/4 of the way there.

The black one is a standard c6 with a wide body conversion done. So you get the width and the removable top.

Damn the last pic is amazing. Soooo ready to just sell my s14 for like 10-15k for the downpayment allready. But the wife says 1-2 more years before I am alloud to. Hopefully we are out of this rescession allready at that point. So cars can go for what they are really worth. None of this low balling crap and sellers selling out of desperation.

I couldn't afford a Z06 so I got a Camaro with an LS6 M6. I see what you're saying about car's not selling, I would've snagged this up at 7700$ a few years ago.

The C6 body style is simply amazing, and it really makes any older vette look bad. If you step away from that though, like I said, C4's are getting very affordable. Not to mention, the C4 guys and forums are a joke. The forced induction knowledge is nearly non existent.
While there is tons of support for C5 and C6 cars, C4's are just older and the main ownership are just old drivers or people that want some type of sports car with a status.
These are probably the only two I've seen in a year of being on those forums. There's a lot of room for guys that have taste. These two cars are considered SICK by the standards over there.
This is CLEAN to them. By my standards and many builders on this forum it looks like a slapped together mess. Another level that I intend to bring over there.
I like this guys car because its one of the few with any kind of stance, though it could be lower still. Hardly anyone lowers their C4's even. I think C5 and C6 owners are a younger breed and more motivated to modify...that's my only theory on the issue.

Pulled these vids off of ls1tech.
Owner lives in the middle east, ZR1 has a few mods making 680rwhp. I just can't get over how hard the thing pulls. GM did a great job with the gear ratios.

Car in the last vid is an carrera gt. IIRC someone said the zr1 stayed in 5th the whole time.

Got it home, had a new set of wheels waiting. Lowered the car three weeks later.
Lovin this car...it's really a fun car. Nice to start with something so capable versus what I'm used to (civic, Delsol, etc). Gonna represent true though....building a full custom supercharger setup, lots of flavor, etc. It'll be my greatest Honda build...err car build yet!

Is that the morrison motorsports setup? Looks nice.
For the price of ITB's, I'd rather buy a blower.

No, Kinsler. It's just a local guys toy. His name's Ted. Wheel to Wheel built the car.
One thing worth mentioning; they used a re-mapped OEM ECU and the factory DBW motor to actuate the throttles on the ITB's.

I think we have a dyno vid. somewhere. I'll try to post it.
The different runner lengths are for frequency tuning.
These graphs are for that car:

Well, my statement above was made on March 11. I ended up landing a deal with a guy in San Diego and flew out and picked my 92 6spd up.
