Re: Montana MT 406 unOfficial Page
what's up guys, my name is Jesse and I have recently moved into the vast expanse known as central Montana (in a small town literally 2 hours from anywhere of any importance) all the way from Spartanburg, South Carolina. I have been wrenchin' on honda's ever since I started driving, been on H-T for a while but haven't really been active in the scene since I sold off my last few cars and made the move. Hope to reconnect with some fellow honda lovers, I can post a few pics of some of the one's I've had over the years if anybody is interested in seeing them.

well here we go...
Prob one of my favorite cars I've owned....
A CRX that I never really finished up....
Here's one of a delsol and the rex....
My '98 GSR, boy I miss this one...
Thought I had some more of the sol, have to dig them up I guess. Other Honda's that I've owned and have no pics of are...
'89 DX Hatch
'90 CRX HF(not the one in pics)
'89 Sedan(on loan to my bro in Fla.)
'90 Wagovan
'90 Si Hatch
That's about all I can recall at the moment. Hopefully within the next year or so I will be financially able to feed my addiction once again. BTW if anyone here plays any COD on the PS3 hit me up my gametag is Archangel_327 I'm usually on MW3.

^Haha, kind of what I was thinking.
And random thought - I had to go to Chinook for a job some months back. Who the hell there has a Dodge Viper sitting on a side street with a for sale sign in it looking like it hasn't been washed in weeks? Some random guy in Chinook, that's who. It was the most out of place thing I think I'd ever seen while on the road for work. It just DID NOT belong in that town, in front of that house, etc, and it looked like it hadn't moved in months.

"It's a long story" may sound a little cliche, but it really is a long story. The short version is I needed some financial assistance, and family here was able(and willing) to help until I can get back on my own two feet. Hopefully within two months or so I can seriously start job hunting, so if anyone has any tips on good jobs, I'm all ears lol.

I know the highschool ag teacher there in Harlowton. We served in the USN reserves together for almost 10 years. Maybe you know him. We also go through Harlowton when we go up to Shelby for work.
Mines getting tuned March 16th in Colorado springs at Revolutions motorsports. It's been delayed and delayed since August 2012. I'm going to leave it at the shop and let them get it ready for tuning if there's anymore delays.
Hoping for 230 whp.

Billings is a LOT closer to get a car tuned - I know you're probably set on where you're bringing it, but we've got a guy up here who tunes our cars (and knows wtf he's doing)...

My car is in Arvada, but if things keep falling through I might just go down there and bring it back. It's been under construction since... 2004 My friend is slow, but he does a great job. I do want to be able to drive this car someday though.

@TheHead what kind of setup are you running? Unless its a secret....lol
@JDMSolutions what tracks are around that you race the hatch at? I will definitely try to make it to some to see the car in person.

It's no secret. It's an H22A, slightly bored and stroked to 2.4L It was built in 2005, so it doesn't have the best cams and header. I'm being told the intake manifold wasn't the best choice either. It's not a competition car, so it doesn't matter too much.

I am looking at replacing the rear axle assembly in my suburban, but since I'm new here I have no idea where any wrecking yards are, can you guys recommend any? anywhere from Billings to Lewistown, Big Timber etc. Would rather not drive to Bozeman or Helena, but hey, whatever it takes.

Call Louie and Deans - I think its in the phone book/online as Montana Truck and Car. Also A-1 Johnson's
Both in Billings
Maybe put a post on Craigslist - that's how I always find stuff (that's somewhat common anyway) for a decent price.

scored one off craigslist for $200. guy said I could come back and get the trans for another $200. Heck yeah! Don't need it yet but hey, a backup never hurt, especially for cheap!

Well my tuning got postponed another 3 weeks, the tuner was closing on as house so he wanted to delay it. The car wouldn't have been ready anyways. We (I helped a little ) got it back together night before the tuning appointment, and it wouldn't start. Had some MIL's due to wiring issues.
My buddy got it running last night, I will post a video when I get better internet.
THe car will be using E85, is there anywhere in Billings where you can get this stuff? I will need a couple drums for the summer. The car is just a toy, so I won't need much fuel for it.

Re: Montana MT 406 unOfficial Page
Unfortunately no gas stations in Billings sell E85. The closest place I know of is supposedly Gillette, but I have yet to see it with my own eyes.
I travel to ND weekly for work and I know a few stations on the west end of the state over there that do carry it.

You have to work in the bakken? Sorry to hear that, it's kind of a hell hole up there now.
Ah well, I'm just going to get a couple drums (you can get it from bulk distributors) and go from there. Unfortunately, it limits where I can take the car.
Here is a very short video of it running. It was open header at the time..

Haha, yeah. I guess I dont HAVE to work up there, but it is where the money is right now, lol.
If you don't have to pay shipping, buying in bulk is probably a good idea. Shipping is what makes it get spendy quick.
