will i pass smog in ca
If i do a engine swap and its before the year of my car 98 ls will i pass smog. like if its a 96 engine putting into a 98 will it pass. i heard that it wont. and what year did they start making integra gsr

ok since no one helped u out on the question mainly they just said no. There right about that due to the fact that 98+ is obd2 ur car has an extra sensor then the ob1 i believe its by the crank pully if im not mistaken thats the reason it wont work because for it work with ur ecu it will throw a check engine light due to the fact that it doesnt have that extra sensor by the pulley so ur gonna, to just get a obd2 engine, and the 92 engine for a gsr is a b17 for sure that wouldnt work lol, and 94-94 are the best gsr engines they made too
