Just as the title states, I'm looking to sell my 2008 Honda CBR1000RR. No trades and no test rides without cash in hand.

Mileage: 2,210 (might increase if the weather breaks and I can take it out for a ride)
Price: $8499 obo. NO TRADES
Contact: 610-six-five-three-2969 or tamadrumr88@yahoo.com

Condition:
The bike is in superb condition and was extremely well-cared for. The bike was always warmed up before being ridden and has also never been to a track day. It's had the oil changed every year even though I've only averaged under one thousand miles a year on it. The chain has been cleaned/lubed/adjusted regularly, along with the clutch and throttle cables.

There are some scuffs on the plastic heel guard from riding boots, but that's typical of any bike that's been ridden, I just want to disclose all the information about the bike. The only real cosmetic "issue" is some scratching on the left side of the upper cowl (which I've included a picture of below). Not sure how that got there, but it was there when I bought the bike from the previous owner.

Info:
I'm the second owner, I bought the bike last year and rode it over the summer and it has always been on a battery tender when it was not being ridden. Over winter it was stored in the garage with Sta-bil fuel stabilizer and it was up on the bike stand so the weight was off of the tires (no flat spots!)

I'm moving to a condo where I won't have a garage and I don't want the bike to sit outside. With that said, I'm in no rush to sell it because I can store the bike at my parent's garage and insurance isn't killing me so I'm not going to let the bike go for cheap. Save about $3k over a "left over" model, and close to $5k compared to an absolutely new bike right off the showroom floor.

Modifications:
Taylormade Racing "Full Power Kit" (cost $1479; adds about 6hp and reduces weight by almost 10lbs) includes exhaust, pre-mapped power commander and carbon fiber underbelly. The stock exhaust will be included in the sale. Information available here -- http://www.racetaylormade.com/tmpage...hondafire.html

Sylvania Silverstar Ultra bulbs for increased light output and visibility (safety!)

Rear fender eliminator kit (stock fender and tail light assembly is included in the sale)

Double-bubble tinted windscreen (stock clear windscreen is included in the sale)

Rear spools (helps to safely lift rear without scratching rear swingarm)

Repsol "socks" for front and rear brake master cylinder reservoirs (mostly for appearance, helps with fluid spilling out of the reservoirs and deterioration of the plastic reservoirs)

Additional info:
We all know these bikes are fast, but that's no excuse to drive like a moron. This is now my fifth motorcycle, and it wasn't treated like a prom date or a booty call. With that said, I will NOT allow test drives without cash in hand. I'm located about an hour north of Philadelphia, PA, an hour south of Scranton, PA, about and hour and a half east of Harrisburg, PA and about two hours west of Long Island, NY
