1988 CBR 600 F1 Hurricane, new full fairings, MD
I am thinking of selling my bike. It is a 1988 Honda CBR 600.
Mileage 21,xxx has a different cluster that shows 8,xxx. It has a Gemini full exhaust, which sounds great. New Full fairing kit from Airtech, painted Smoking Joes purple. It has had the brakes replaced, and the wheel bearings. The tire still have plenty of tread, Michelin rear and Bridgestone front. I have had this for about a year and have not ridden it. I got it running but I think it needs the carbs adjusted or something. It will run for about 30sec normally then it loads up with fuel and starts idling at about 3000 rpms. Also it needs a jump to start since it has been sitting for a while. I think the previous owner was going to try and make a track bike out if it because a lot of the bolts on the engine are drilled and wired together. Overall it is in pretty good shape just needs a little tuning to get back on the road. The paint and body alone cost over $1k. Asking $1400/obo. I don't NEED to sell it but if I get enough for it I'll let it go. I also have the tool kit, a cover, and a factory repair manual for it.
