I'm not sure what you consider cheap. I just ordered the MemoryFab superlows for $145. Cool peeps over there at memfab.

I just got my Type III today. It's "somewhat" in the car because the brackets I recieved wasn't made for the car. Only had one chance to put up one picture, I might shoot some more tomorrow after work so enjoy people:

Because we give out FREE side mount and sliders with each seat purchase, all you need is a mounting bracket.

Weapon-R is selling a pair (2) for $75. You can find many other brands (such as Wedge and OBX) for around the same price.

We're in the process of developing our own mounting brackets for most Honda/Acura and our price will be $75 for the pair.

Feel free to compare ours to memfab.

Keep in mind that the seat flex more when it is not mounted in the car (or on a display). If you just let the seat sits on the floor with side mount only, the seat will flex more because they're not mounted.

what exactly does it being mounted have to do with the flex? i'm talking about the back being solid?

We feel that the seat back/shell tend to flex more when not mounted.

We compare ours with SPG and S1, the fiberglass material is the same.

our type 1 style seats would be wider than the type 3s but the type 3s are taller. if that answers your question

as an ex SPG owner I have to say those were some of the most comfortable seats I have ever sat in. I am SOOOOOO tempted to pick up a pair. Perhaps you could tell us more about the manufacturing process and materials used?? That could put some minds to rest that are worried about approval.

so all I need is a bottom braket mount from say...sparco or etc...??? And as you said this is universal mounting so as long as i get a bottom mount it'll bolt right up. This is going into my 00' s2000. Once confirmed you have me sold. Thanks
