B18C (JDM ITR motor) CLEAN CLEAN!!!!
As the title states, I am selling the ’97 spec B18C (JDM ITR motor) out of my ’95 Civic hatch. This is a full JDM ITR motor that includes the following:
Motor
LSD transmission
Axles
Shift linkage (gold w/ dual bend shifter) w/ polyurethane shifter bushings
OEM mounts
ECU
NEW OEM Honda water pump ($99)
NEW OEM Honda timing belt ($79)
NEW OEM Honda distributor cap & rotor ($40)
NEW Distributor ($200)
NEW Stage 4 Competition Clutch w/ resurfaced flywheel ($345)
NEW NGK plugs and wires
**All NEW maintenance items listed above were performed in May 2010 and have less than 3,000 miles on them.
I purchased the motor from a local shop in May but I’m now looking to go K series so would like to get rid of the motor. A compression test and leak down test were performed on the motor and it passed with flying colors. The motor is super clean, runs unbelievably strong and does not burn any oil.
The motor is currently still in the car, I was debating on pulling it but whoever is interested may like to see the motor running in the car as it will help verify its excellent condition.
Whoever purchases the motor can help me pull the motor if they’d like or I could just pull it, either way doesn’t matter to me.
I am looking to get $3,800 and I will consider trading for LS motor or B16 (for my daily driver) plus cash on buyers end.
Hmotorsonline has the motor listed for $3,900 (http://www.hmotorsonline.com/shop/sc...age&item=30011) and JHPUSA.com has the motor for $3,800 (http://www.jhpusa.com/store/pc/viewP...idcategory=387). However, when you purchase the motor via the internet you would need to pay for shipping and it is highly recommended you do the typical maintenance that I have already performed above. Also, there is no guarantee on how clean or strong the motor will be. With all that said you will be paying more in the end for the motor than what I have it listed for.
**NOTE** Feel free to make reasonable offers, I am willing to part out the motor (head, block, trans, intake manifold, throttle body, etc.) if the prices are right.

the only warranty those websites do is a startup warranty and i will do that. you're more than welcome to do a compression test or leak down test on the motor but like i stated above i have already performed these.

Re: B18C (JDM ITR motor) CLEAN CLEAN!!!!
Let the motor in the car and let people test drive the car and motor. Trust me, I had a brand new 6,000 doller dart turbo motor with zero miles all fresh parts. People were giving me **** and bitching that they "don't know" if it will run. I had to take a hit, so let people take it for a ride. It's not a 1000hp car, just make sure your on a back road or somthing. You will be able to sell it alot faster and for more money.
