Default hid's...

does anyone else get static on their radio when you turn on your hid's? i do... is there anyway to fix this?

07 si, i just picked up an ebay kit, i dont car they look good and they're bright

that's strange
never heard of this problem before
my guess would be to recheck the connection
my second guess would be because you got them from ebay

and i agree with striker
pnp=poop
i used to have them, now that i took them out
its good to have a cutoff again

I have a retro from customlightz and when I turn my lights off, I get a slight "crackle" for a millisecond, but nothing constant.

I"ve never heard of anything like that happening before. I would check the wires bro and make sure that all wires going to and from the ballasts are not close to any other wires that could cause interference.

yeah.. ive heard of that before... it's fine on my car but on my friend's Lexus SC400, when he has his HIDs on the radio statics.. so he listens to CDs.. it makes everyones radio static when driving near him.. hahaha

Hey

It's Customlightz.com HID retrofit, not "rerto"




Anyways, NO you shouldn't hear any noises other than the ballast.
