I had S2ooo projectors in my DA. I didn't like them at all. Even when I switched to SL500 Bixenon, it didn't do much either. The "flutted" lens drastically reduce light output. The cut off looks like 2 ovals arching (spelling) up back down. Light output on the road is decent. It may be a bit better than stock but you totally lose the ability to aim them properly since the headlight is so small.

If you have some time, I'd go ahead and do it, but I just wanted to let you know that HID projectors through a flutted headlight doens't do much but look like a mini-Jspec ITR from a distant.

Good luck!

I saw somewhere either here or on HIDplanet where somebody put HID projectors in JDM 1-piece DA Integra headlights, and he sanded and polished out the flutes that were only directly in front of the projector, but left the ones in front of the foglights and corner lights.

Guidance....get projectors. d2s bulbs in a stock halogen projectors just wont cut it. trust me, try it once and youll regret not getting hid projectors.

then it wouldn't be a retro

The whole idea is to retrofit an OEM HID projector into a headlight housing that did not have them originally. Otherwise you're just adding HID parts which will be junk when used with stock reflector housings.

Fitting them on your stock headlights will require some really good custom work...What u do is make a hole big enough to support the hid projector and make some shourd to cover escapain light....but easier one to do a retro will be to buy and afermarket headlight that comes with projectors and take off those projectors and get in there the hid projectors...wiring up is easy...
