Wire the relay's positive lead from the coil to the pin that is positive when your interior lights are on...
bypassing the switch.. basically jumping the two wires coming from the switch.
or just plug the switch in, and leave it switched on... does the same thing.

as far as wires, there's a negitive, positive, and a positive accessory wire thats connected. it all works.
So what your saying is to take the positive and accessory and splice into the stock switch?
not trying to wire it into the interior lights btw.

the interior lights (dash lights) turn on when your parking lights are on, same thing...
in that picture you are jumping the red and yellow wires that are inside the cabin.

Re: (zerovandez)
Coming from the switch should be three wires total.
2 are already spliced together...
1 is ground
the other is from the relay.
take the two that are splice together, and wire it to the other wire (not ground)
thats it..

I actually figured it out! My switch had 2 yellows, 2 reds tied together, and a black wire. I connected it up and press the switch to find the 12v signal on the relay which was a black wire. I then cut the whole switch off and ran that black wire to a dash bulb positive wire when switched on. and it worked! even flashes with my alarm!
Thanks for posting that picture and helping me out!
Oh, and the 2 red wires that were spliced are the 12v when on wires. I actually tried to jump that to one of the yellow wires (one yellow is ground) and it popped my radio fuse. If that's what your referring to, it didn't work.

the wire colors in the diagram differ from the actual wire colors...
but imo, add another relay to it...
you don't want your foglights to flash with the alarm.
foglights aren't meant to be flashed...

say I wanted to tap c219 (acc) instead of c218 should I run an inline fuse to the switch? asking because I want to run a defi gauge to it
edit answer yes any option pin (except c218) you'll need inline fuses
here is a wiring diagram I did
