K20 fitted at an angle
Hi everyone,
im building my peoguet 205 with a k20 engine,
i had to tilt the engine back abit because i couldnt get a level driveline angle also the gearbox was hitting the subframe.
now that i had to clear the gearbox and move the engines position back, there was no other way but to tilt the engine back a little,
will tilting the engine towards the back cause any issues?
thanks

A little bit back is one thing... a lot of tilt can affect oil flow because of how the pick-up is positioned. Starving the engine for oil is never a good thing.

It's hard to say without taking a deep dive into the engine oiling system but you may have issues with oil pooling in certain areas (like the cylinder head) because drains are not configured for that angle along with needing to modify how the oil pickup works.
Also make sure you have a coolant bleed at the highest point (while being mindful of places air could be trapped in the system). Radiator looks like it may be below the cylinder head. K-tuned makes a upper coolant housing with a radiator fill if that is the case.

When i look from under neath the car the sump is straight in line with the subframe.
With the radiator issue i might have to look into the ktunes upper rad kit.
cheers
