Hey All, We are a family of Honda lovers from Western Canada. We are currently racing a 1985 Prelude ( yes, we know its old, lol) and are in the process of building a 1991 Civic SI for oval track. We have owned a few old school first gen Civics as well as newer iron. Love to see all the modified stuff on here, low buck daily drivers and weekend warriors especially!

What's up everybody, I'm Eric and I'll fix and rebuild just about anything. I got a 94 integra gsr (daily), 02 WRX wrb wagon (baby-mobile), 05 WRX (parting out, lmk), 99 integra LS (wife's first stick shift), 66 f250 (the project), and a 84 dodge rampage. I enjoy beaters mainly due to loving to drive the living g **** out of my car's no matter where I end up, some times fields and mud looks fun so whatever happened happens. I don't fix for show, I fix for go.

Hello every one my name is Philip, just a few things about myself, I love Racing, mainly road racing but I appreciate all forms, I am always trying to progress in the things I par take in, I race radio controlled cars as well, mainly short course truck as that's the only full bodied class in off road R/c, I would race on road but I'm addicted to the jumps nothing like a big triple.
I am a coral reef enthusiast and keep a small reef in my care, my "EK Hatch" is what bought me here I plan to fully build her for some light track and daily use, I acquired her a little over a year ago I went to south Carolina for her so I could start with a 100% rust free chassis, it has a b18b1 bottom end and a b16 head being operated on a p73-A04 ecu witch is why she developed a rod knock the ls vtec couldnt handle a true Type R tune well actully it did fine for awhile but a lot of 5600rpm vtec kicks & 9k shifts did her in, she also has a complete disc brake set up, she's been in the garage ever since, anyway the time is upon us and I will be purchasing a b16b full swap or b18c long block from Hmotors within the next 3 weeks However that will be sitting on the palate for awhile as I plan to strip her down and repaint her and do some chassis strength'n like stitch welding, Id also like to acquire an ek9 steering rack, and that's about it.

I recently picked up a compressor, 30 gallon set up, and i have all the tool's so I will do most the mechanical work my self and will also prep for paint things like sanding I live across the street from a body shop that will do the painting.

my problem is there are only 2 plugs at my ecu and thers supposed to be 3 somehow the car runs fine aside from rod knock, I believe she is rigged up at the moment as I have to flip switches to turn on the dash and ignition and fuel pump I believe that's why there is an msd ignition box in her as well. so basically I could drop a type r right in but I want clean up all the bs Im honestly thinking about ordering a ry wire as well if im not mistaken 96-98 ek's harness runs all the way to the ecu I guess im really looking for confidence in talking to someone thats for sure.

any who here are a few pics of her and my other cars and hobbies, I look forward to being a positive member in the community and to contributing as much as I can as well as learning and I will appreciate any help I receive all way's great full.
I will most likely start a build thread.

Hi, everyone. I'm new to the forum, but am no stranger to the Honda game. I figured that I've gotten on here and looked up enough information before that it's time I register and try and give back to the community. Anyway, here's my ride. 96 Prelude Si, H22a1, Tein Street Advance coilovers, Starley wheels, Skunk2 cat back, Megan Racing headers and short throw shifter, stage 2 Competition Clutch kit, Clutch Masters lightweight flywheel, Rockford Fosgate speakers, and Mystichrome paint. I have recently retrofitted projector headlights and installed Aerocatch hood pins on it as well to get rid of the ones that were on it. Looking forward to getting to know everyone here

Hello Honda persons!
I'm 63 years old and retired at 53 as a top knuckle dragger on F-15's, 16's, etc.
In my younger years I've rebuilt almost everything.
My ride is the F-250 TV.
The 01 CRV is the daughters which as she describes as leaking outa every orifice it has!
She just had engine replaced as the original broke the belt and valves hit pistons.
It was driven from NY to TN and used almost a quart of oil but lost all tranny fluid, stick.
My question to the group is to replace axle seals and RM it would be easiest to pull motor and trans and do them on stand?
Thanks for any ideas.

Hello all,

My name is Cody from SoCal USA, I have a 2007 Honda Accord EX-L V6, just joined when I had a problem, haven't had many with this Accord and it is my first Honda. So I will also try and help if I see anyone with problems of their own, although I'm not much in the way of mechanics, I'm in the IT field myself.

Hi guys and gals!

Just want to introduce myself.

I'm Liz Pekler, a photographer.

I joined this forum to have a working knowledge as how I could learn more stuff about honda and the possible technologies out there. Actually, I am on the lookout for a new hobby and I'm think of venturing into car photography and aesthetically I find Honda cars appealing.

So hope people could help me out.

Cheers!

Hi everyone, Dale here. Coming to you from the great white north.Looking to get back into the honda scene again (specifically the civic wagon). I still regret the day I gave my wagovan up for a yaris years ago. Times have changed and I'm in the market for something cheap, reliable and functional. I have a feeling I'll find all the info I need to guide me on my future build and hopefully I can be part of this great community. Thanks.

Hi! I'm Gerson from So. Cal. Just bought my very first Honda a few months ago, a 2017 Honda Fit EX. I won't be doing anything crazy to it, but maybe some minor suspension work.

Hello folks, my name is Alex or "Petro" as many of my friends call me. I've always liked Honda, among Japanese makes they are my favorite mostly because they at least try to put some fun and sporty handling into everyday cars like the civic and accord. Did I mention VTEC? My current ride is a '95 Del Sol S, current mods are as follows; Energy Suspension Master bushing set, 2004 civic Si rims (alluminum alloy), and Eibach Pro-touring suspension lowering kit (progressive lowering springs, sport shocks, and thick red sway bars front & back). Had to use some Integra GSR LCAs and links from a junkyard to attach the rear bar as there was no rear sway bar on the stock S model. 168K miles and the D15 still purs with a custom 2 inch header back exhaust installed by the previous owner. Cat deleted it came with a rice blower which I replaced with a cheap Muffler by Midas. Overall happy with the car and can't wait to do a rear disk swap, I've got the GSR trailing arms, rotors and calipers in my closet, waiting for enough $$$ to do it right with all new SS lines and possibly Wilwood front big breaks. Someday I hope to do a B16 or B18 swap, but that'll have to wait till I have a real job and another daily driver. That's me!

Hi all. My name is Matt and I'm a carburetor/distributor kind of guy that has been hurled into the computer age (against my will) by one of our two Accords. I normally just send the both of them to the dealership to have them worked on but this time, I'm going in, and can hopefully get a little guidance from you guys along the way.

Suhhhh dude! New to the forum, been around Hondas since 2002 have owned multiple with some various builds. My first car was a db9 at the time I didn't realize how rare they were long story short I had the one previous owner car for a total of 9 months before it became totaled fast forward to 6 years ago tired of all my builds being stolen after finally getting them dialed I made the venture over to subies I currently own part of a '17 sti limited (wife owners the other part) which is located at the body shop due to uninsured motorist so I picked up a ek coupe for the wife to drive in the mean time has a y7 in it and can't wait for our car to be done to start tearing the sohc out and replace it with something **** bawls crazy. My main goal is to try to revive the Honda game here in Eastern Washington. Looking forward to chatting with all you ladies and gents in the future.
