transmission adapter for D series
I'm curious if anyone produces a adapter plate for D series tranny to a B series motor? I found bizo's D to H and F from google. Does anyone know D to B adapter plate?
Thanks,
Nick

Why would you want to do this? The cost, trouble, and clearance issues would make this more trouble and expense than it is worth. I am also not convinced that, as Bisi says, D-series transmissions are better than B-series transmissions. ESPECIALLY if we are not talking about a 1G Integra transmission (which is almost more of a B-series transmission for a D-series motor). I personally would just go with a B-series transmission. That way, you can just drop the drivetrain in without hassle in a tried-and-true manner. You also don't have to worry about fabrication of a different driver's side bracket or potential clearance issues with the driver's side frame rail due to the fact that adaptor plates will move the engine toward the driver's side frame rail by an amount equal to the thickness of the plate. And just from looking at my B-series swaps, even a shift of ~.375 inches is enough to cause crank pulley clearance issues. Not to mention alternator pulley issues.
Thanks,
