Re: Ecu Pinouts (everlasting1832)
This is my plan for the h22 wiring. Buy an 00-01 obd2b gsr engine harness. Cut off at about 1.5 feet off the engine harness. Now since hmotorsonline sold me an h22 with the engine harness cut after the shock towers, i will not be needing to cut my h22 harness, just use the shock tower plugs. Every wire im going to read what that wire does for each harness. for example Integra harness is
Fuel Injector #1 =Brown
will run to Fuel Injector #1=Brown from the h22 harness. sounds too easy to be true. looks like alot of the engine harnesses color codes match right up. only wiring that doesnt match up are anything after the engine harness and ecu pinouts. so what confuses me is that the ecu pinouts dont match up. for example,
A3 for the obd1 ecu =INJ2 INJ2 Red, Battery Voltage with KOEO
but the A3 for the obd2b ecu =Evap Bypass Solenoid valve
Blue.
A. Would a OBD2b to OBD1 conversion fix this problem.
B. I would have to route the wire to the correct pinout.

Re: Ecu Pinouts (everlasting1832)
I just recently put all the prelude smog equipment into my civic, wired it all up, ran vac lines etc. Im not throwing a code but the car is running in open loop ( idles at 1200, wont hit vtec, runs crappy) And when i first started it up, it would not run with the EGR plugged in, electricaly, but i could plug it in after starting it and it would run, but if i turned the car off and tried to restart it it wouldnt. do you think the EGR is physically bad? i have the oem honda manual and i did all the vaccum tests on it and it checks out. Or do you think i have a vaccum leak somewhere else?

if you ran a p28 ecu, it wouldnt check for the egr.

my friend had the same problem you were having on his impreza.. but since we live here in the midwest and we dont smog our cars, he had his egr valve blocked off with just a sheet of metal. but his car just kept idling all weird and ran like ****. we looked for the problem all day couldnt find it. turned out his intercooler wasnt even connected. i suggest looking for any leaks.

^^^^^lol. i know that page WELL.
??????? for the EGR Lift Sensor. are there other wires i can splice into in the engine harness for the below:
Sensor voltage - RED/WHT - goes to D19 or D20
ECU trigger - WHT/BLK - goes to D12
i have the Sensor ground (- GRN/WHT - goes to D22) taken care of already.
or will i have to just run these wires from the sensor to the ECU? pimp plug will added in this case.

You only have to run two wires to the ECU, D12 and A11.
You can get your sensor voltage form the yel-wht on the TPS plug. Make aure you check your TPS voltage after.

I need some help??????
I swapped the h22 in my 94 eg civic everything runs fine but i have 2 problems and the one that bothers me the most is that i cant get my rpms past 6500 it looks like 6700 rpms but its bound to be off. i had the stock p28 then had that chipped with the jdmshit program same thing tried the p13 ecu but runs kinda crappy between 2000 to 3000 rpms but same 6500 cutoff tried a chipped P0A ecu same thing. it seems like a fuel s oi change fuel pump check timing valve clearance fuel pressure regulator im stumped and dont know what to do i dont get any check engine lights which brings me to my next problem after hitting vtec if i were to rev that high after i come to an idle the check engine light comes on usually on fifth and fourth gear i have the prelude si tranny ohh an vtec always kicks in at 4000 with all the ecus. i created a vtec light by splicing the vtec silinoid wire and connecting it to a light on the dash also my speedometer is like 10 mph off around 80 mph

Re: I need some help?????? (acex)
Guys, please help me with my swap. I put JDM H22A from 4th gen Prelude to my EG-4 JDM Civic, but can't find axles and midshaft. in our junkyard i can find a lot of JDM f20b f22a,b, ZC, but can't find F20A midshaft. the same situation with axles. So my question, anyone knows can i apply another part, like midshaft from f22b, and axles from b20b from cr-v.
PS sorry for bad english

you can use the intermediate shafts from 90-97 accords. and for axles use 90-93 integra axles.

Re: I need some help?????? (everlasting1832)
They are all the same? (i mean intermediate shafts (between f20a f20b f22a f22b g20a) and axles(between d16a b16a b18b zc b20a b20b) ). i saw integras with d16a or zc, will these axles fit?

read the first page of this thread. d16a are zc from way back then. i never saw b20a and b20bs stock in integra. only b series i saw in those gen integra's were the b18a's, b17, and b16s in the xsi.

Re: I need some help?????? (everlasting1832)
thanks for the info turbogixxer, I will go over all the wires, but i just finished wiring it and im pretty sure i have done it the way you posted it.
Besides its not throwing codes anymore so i would assume that means its wired right?
Thats why i was thinking it might be a leak, or that the egr might be gunked up from sitting so long on the motor without being hooked up. In that case could i run some sea foam through it? As of yet i cant get it off the manifold to clean it and check the diaphram, going to have to use a oxy acetelene torch to heat the studs.
Skunked, i told you like 5 months ago you live right next to me! for a little while i thought you lived down the street.
thanks everlast, im gonna recheck every thing for leaks with the car running.
***i finally got the egr off, the diaphram is fine and there was only a little carbon buildup which i took care of, gonna put it back on with a new gasket and see what else i can find that might be causing it
