Re: (double)
yes, it's possible. I would try cleaning it with some brake cleaner.
If the wiring is all good and right, and the EGR valve is clean, it could be a faulty vavle, or the solenoid also might be bad.

I need to know what parts to use to retain power steering and ac in my 92 civic si with a h22 swap. please be specific, also, i'm looking to go turbo, any recommended parts or kits considering less room due to ac and ps. whats axles should i go with if using the hcp kit and boosting, really looking to put serious #'s to the wheels, like 500 and up.

Re: (TriniTech)
I'm not sure what turbo manifold on the market is out there that will clear PS and A/C, but I'm sure there is.
If not, you might need to have a custom turbo manifold.

Re: (hondaZvic)
I need help with this god awful code 12 (EGR) I have been getting. I checked all the wiring I have continuity to all wires.
<U>EGR control solenoid</U>
A25 power
A11 ecu trigger
<U>EGR valve</U>
A25 power
D12 ecu trigger
D22 ground
All vacuum lines are correct the EGR port on the intake manifold is recently cleaned.
I have tested the EGR valve by applying 8 in Hg of vacuum. The valve holds vacuum and the car stalls when the vacuum is applied. I have tried road testing the car with a vacuum pump/ gauge attached to the lower port on the egr control solenoid (#16 hose) the one that goes to the EGR valve. The solenoid works and sends vacuum over to the EGR valve. I am reading around 6 in Hg of vacuum while doing this road test. I have directly jumped the egr control solenoid with power from the battery on one lead and a ground on the other. With all vacuum lines connected. During this test I can physically see the EGR valve lift when I ground the solenoid. I am reading around 6 in Hg vacuum during this test. I have even tested the CVC valve it seems to be ok also matching its recomended vacuum in the Helms manual. The only thing I can think of is one or both the EGR control solenoid and EGR valve itself are bad. The EGR control solenoid is suppose to have around 8 in Hg of vacuum. During all the test I tried I only noticed around 6 in Hg of vacuum. I tested a friends car old Accord with EGR no codes his car also only read about 6 in Hg of vacuum. Someone give me so new ideas I need help. My registration is past due and I need to take this thing to the referee CA smog rules suck.

Re: (turbogixxer)
I am leaning towards the solenoid myself. The only thing that is steering me away is I borrowed a solenoid from someone that says they have no codes. I am still throwing a code with there solenoid. I have 3 egr valves all used not sure of the condition they all do the same thing when put in. Also 2 egr control solenoids I have tried both. I really don't want to buy this stuff new since I am only going to use it for smog once every 2 years. LMK if you find that flow chart. If someone has egr hooked up in there eg and has access to a vacuum pump gauge IM me I want to see if you can gather some info for me. It should only take about 10 min tops to do.

Re: where to get it (Jdmdelsolguy2004)
i went to start up my h22 del sol and i tried to fire it up and its not sparking. first i tried the h23 dizzy w/external coil wired it up and still not getting spark. so i checked all my fuses.. all good. then i started testing wires for power. well all are getting power. so i take off that dizzy and i threw on the del sol dizzy and just held there cause the bolt pattern is different and still nothing and i had power to it that time also. i dont know what is going on. could it be like a ground or something or what i am running out of ideas some body help
