Default Help! I need radio code!

I have a '01 S2000 that the battery died, so I had to replace it. Now my radio doesn't work. Can anyone here help me get the code?

The model number off the radio is 39100-S2A-A010,

ref. no. CQ-JH0060A

Serial # 00A16495

Usually, it's on the back of the radio. Taking out the radio takes all of 2.29 minutes, so try that. If it's not back there, go to your local Honda dealership, and they should be able to help you out.

u have to give honda the serial number off the back of the unit then theyll give u a code for the radio. I also had to replace my battery and the same thing happened to me.

I see that u have the serial# already, so tell honda that number.

Dealerships can get codes off vin #'s, you don't have to pull the radio out. I know cause I used their system to look my mom's up

i dont know what dealerships you are dealing with but i have been working for honda for 8 yrs now and we have never been able to get the radio code by the vin just the key code. unless the dealer in your area keeps its own records of cars they sell but you cannot get this from our honda network anyway did you ever get your radio code? if not e mial me and i can sign on and get it for you! i need the s/n and your first and last name

Well, I just thought I'd let you all know that I drove down to the dealer myself. They gave me the code without problem.

Wouldn't that completely defeat the purpose if it was on the radio itself?

He was talking about the serial number, not the code.
