quick b20a prelude questions
we have built a 88 prelude for our new ice racer , using b16 pistons , colt cams and some head work , my supplier for headers had told me that pace setter has dropped their line for this car , and im still with out for the weekend , does anyone know if any b series header will work?

What kind of head dose the b20a have on it? I have a b20a3 I'm looking for a head that will fit my a3 with some modification. I'v heard that the a5 will fit so I'm guessing the b20a might fit?

Putting an a5 head isnt that easy. When it comes to 3rd gens you have to rewire the whole car, get a fully assembled Si gas tank and run a fuel return line for the PGM-FI system. I probably missed something. it would be best for you to get a Si shell w/ a bad bearing or that threw a rod or some block damage and throw your a3 block on it. (dont boost it tho lol)

I was planning on keeping the car carbed. I might have to make a custom intake manifold if the a5 head wount bolt to the a3 manifold. I woun't have to rewire or put in a new fule pump. do you think this would work?

If you make a custom manifold, it should work. The B20A5 head will bolt onto the B20A3 block....
Have you tried SS headers? Or I believe they're called "tornado" headers from austrailia.....
