please help, need diagram to pass SMOG
my car wont pass smog, i swapped in a jdm h22a, used to be a usdm h22a1, do these use different vacuum lines? i would really appreciate any links to diagrams for the egr and other smog necessary vacuum lines HELP please i cant legally drive to work ;(

they are exactly the same to my knowledge, the only difference in the engines would be the internals, vacumes should be all the same. And did you swap the engine just to gain ten horsepower? or did your other one blow? Just curious if you still have the other H22...

yeah i still have the other one its a h22a1 with 80k miles, has the ecu axles and tranny, i was thinking of building it, but i wouldnt mind selling it, only prob it has is a rear seal that needs replacing, if youre interested feel free to pm me..

They're exactly the same, they just run richer due to the JDM P13 ECU. They come with an EGR.. All vaccum lines are identical between engines. Just put in the ECU from your USDM engine, and you should pass the sniffer no prob, as long as your cat is good.

the only difference in the vaccuum lines is the starting air valve, the h22a doesn;t have it, while the h22a1 does. Good luck man, search is your friend!
