P0300 P0301 P0303 cylinder misfire HELP!!!!!
I have a 2000 prelude base manual. Took car to get smog with NO check engine light. Directly after didn't pass due to check engine light that went on during smog. P1399 code with P0300 P0301 and P0303 code. Car seems to be running normal. But I need to smog SOON and was curious if it is beyond a tune up new spark plugs or could I have burnt valves. Car does burn oil (not too much) no leaks. Any input? And how much $ of a fix to replace valves?

No response, no problem. went on with replacing spark plug wires and did a valve adjustment. problem still persisted, check engine light came on at idle. Fiddled around with car for a few hours trying to diagnose problem. Cleared check engine light and ran it at idle, pending misfire codes came up. Cleared codes again and tried reading codes with ac on and nothing. Looked around and checked for vaccum leaks. That was were the culprit was. Replaced intake manifold gasket and problem was solved. hopes this can help someone else with problem. New spark plug wires look sweet tho, lol.

coolant in the oil? head gasket (hg)? im pretty sure that wasnt the case. the intake manifold gasket was done. just replaced that and car runs perfect. it was only ****ed up and misfiring at idle, which should of made me realize where the problem was.
