I wish we had those prices on 4th gens in canada. an SI (h23) can still fetch like 7000, vtecs are usually 8 - 10g. some (unmodded even) are more expensive than a 97 5th gen.

I guess i need to sell my cars in Canada. I recently just bought 2 4g preludes from 2 different people for a whopping $2050 TOTAL and both are in good condition. hell, I would personal drive the to Canada if someone was going to pay me $6G for each

some people here in canada do already exploit that, atleast close to vancouver/seattle. My car (for example) is a US vehicle. it's a bitch to import a vehicle the first time, but I think once you know all the hoops to jump through it isn't that bad. and you're right - if you know what you're doing with the dollar being close to the same you could turn a profit.

Are u mechanicly inclined? Buy it for 2 k,and swap a lower milage jdm h22,about 800-1k,keep ur 5sp from the si.Now u have a 94 w a h22 low milage, and you are still right around 3k.No way would it cost you 2000+ unless u want jdm lsd w it.I see them as low as 695 up to 1695 for motor and ecu, shop around if u go that route.

If u could get a 94 w 171 on the shell and a h22 w 40k on the motor, wouldnt u pay 3k?I see these cars sell for 4500-7000 all day here in cali w similar spec.Plus then u can sell ur h23 motor for 300-500 fast and make some cash back for bolt ons.Just my 2cents......great deal.

Its alot simpler than u would expect, basiclly wiring is the only part u would have to pay for,the rest u could do if u have tools,a hoist(u can rent) and a helms/online support, like H.T.

canadians would love your cars too because of no snow driven. (no salt, alot less rust)
every honda i've bought here rusts out in rear corner panels atleast once every 3 years. back to body shop 2 times since i've owned my 4th gen. still bubbling now yet again after rewelds. i should have just bought new rear corner panels.

anybody know a place that would sell inexpensive rear corner panels? i guess shipping would be costly lol

A better deal would be a 5th gen stick shift with 156K miles for $5,100. Especially if it came with leather, AEM V2 intake, newer BFG G-Force Tires... HEY WAIT I'M SELLING ONE OF THOSE....

I'M IN VA (THAT WOULD BE VIRGINIA)... ANY TAKERS???

SHOOT ME A PM

If it has already had the timing belt, water pump, and clutch replaced within the last 2 years, the major service has already been done on it.

I think it is a really good deal.
