nope. The water pump is driven by the timing belt.

i know but is it possible to loosen the tensioner and remove the belt from the water pump pulley then remove the water pump?

I think you could do it if you loosen the tensioner and use a breaker bar to move the cams to provide you with more slack in the t-belt.

At this point, you might as well just redo the timing belt because its going to be the same process.

Trying to do the work around, is risky if you are not good at it, cause you can slip a tooth and have your motor run like crap, which in turn can potentially damager your motor.

Just do them both.

If it's been over 10K miles since the Timing belt was replaced why not just replace it again to be safe?

I think you could replace the water pump without removing the T-belt. You would have to loosen the tensioner, slide the belt off the water pump while keeping tension on it with something so it doesn't lose slack and come of the cam or crank gears. I would zip tie it to the cam gear to keep it from jumping a tooth while you're working on the WP.

Is there a write up on taking them both off?
