Default Another Cam Gear Question...

I am planning on purchasing some Cam Gears on tuesday (and heading to the dyno for some tuning once my valves have been adjusted and gears installed) and was wondering if the timing belt should be replaced during the installation of these gears?

TIA
Doug

How many miles do you have on your current timing belt?

OK a little update I stopped by my local shop and they quoted me 460$ for my 100k tune up, which includes belts, water pump, etc... and I was wondering if this was a good quote. This also includes installation of my newly purchases Skunk 2 Cam Gears, which will be dyno tuned in the next month or so.

Yeah, that's a decent price, especially including the water pump.

Look into replacing/upgrading the auto-tensioner to an H23 manual one while you're in there - although not many shops will be comfortable doing it.
