Default You know its bad when HRC parts start arriving

Last week I get a shipment from Tyga in Thailand containing an HRC rear brake reservoir kit and an HRC coolant overflow tank. Today I receive this:

I had a pretty decent get-off Memorial day weekend and have done the following so far:

Sharkskinz with a Superbike tail section
Woodcraft clipons
Harris rearsets
Thorston frame protectors
Varium linkage
HRC Radiator overflow tank
HRC Rear reservior
AP Racing front master cylinder
Stainless steel brake lines
Bridgestone BT002 tires
Penske 3-way (had that before the crash)
Custom under seat electronics box
Moriwaki rainbow replacement mufflers
Hella 90mm HID projector module

I need to finish the wiring mods on my spare harness to relocate all the electronics that are mounted onto the subframe.

I'm still waiting for the following parts to arrive:
Thorston radiator ducts
Thorston battery tray

When she's mechanically sound, I'm sending the suspension to Lindemann Engineering to get the forks worked on. I'm convinced that some of my issues on Memorial day are due to that wonky front end.

I'm going to paint it Championship white

Look bad-***

Seriously, the rear reservoir just cleans up the area around the right rearset and removes the stock reservoir which I can't use with the Superbike tail section anyway (gets in the way of mounting/dismounting).

The radiator tank eliminates the OEM tank so I can mount some electronics in its place. I'll mount the HRC tank behind the nose fairing on the brake side.

damn sounds like it's getting a bit of $$$ I'm taking my time with getting mine back in shape after my go down. I really should do a shock soon but it'll have to wait a lil. I'll have a superbike tail on mine too. woot. Thinking of trying ccs by the end of next year in the supertwins class

Nice Sato's

Link to the HRC reservoir kit. I think the guys at hiperform can get these too (www.hiperform.com)

http://tyga-performance.com/si...a5bf4

To be honest, the HRC bottle kit is nothing more than a 250cc plastic bottle and clear vinyl tubing. I could have made the same thing for less but this is like buying Mugen oil filters

Or like have a built B17a in a db1 with fully adjustable suspension and four piston brakes as a parts getter

I think he has Jardines not Satos.
You should've had Bladerunner send you his "Bladerunner mod" for the rear brake reservoir. It's basically the same thing as the HRC one you posted, he was sending them out for free. I got mine, but I have not put it one yet.

That's like telling someone to go get some Rota wheels instead of real Mugen's

How do you like your 06 Tundra? I'm in the market for an 05-06 Access Cab V8 so I can tow the Integra or carry the bikes to track days. I drove the new 07 the other day and they're sweet (the 5.7L is BEEFY) but I'm not willing to spend $30K on a new truck that won't do anything that the older one won't except get more *****(possibly).

The only complaint I have about my truck is the gas mileage 14-15 in the city and 19 highway, but it's a V8 so what do you expect? LOL I've hauled my bike around it in it and it works out fine, as well as haul a bunch of other crap in the bed. I don't usually drive more than one person, so the extra cab space is just used for gear. It can be a little cramped back there for an adult. My truck has done everything I have asked it to do, which includes having a good time out in the desert

I actually went and looked at the new Tundras. They seemed really cheap to me, doors seemed hollow, door handle felt like it was going to fall off, interior seemed cheaply done as well. Motor is nice though. I would not buy a 1st year vehicle as there will always be bugs and things they fix later on down the line. The new Tundras do have a higher towing capacity though, I think they can do 10k lbs and mine can only do 7500 -7600 lbs. I would think that it would be fine for towing your teg.........a fully loaded toy hauler might be a different story

If I was going to get the 05-06, I'd get an access cab. If I was going to get the 07, I'd consider the standard cab. I was really surprised how much room there was behind the seats. I can easily fit all my gear back there and then some.

I won't buy a 1st model year either. I've read that the new 6-speed automatic had issues as well as some bad cranks in the new 5.7L.

I got that from him too but some guys said that it sweats so I've avoided it for now. Maybe later... The sato rearsets are sweet and I love the peg feel. They were expensive though. Probably not the smartest for a now mostly track bike

If you want a 1/5 turn throttle kit for cheap, hit up Scott at 619.672.0929. Tell him R6 Jeff sent you. He knows a lot about the RC51 and can talk to you forever about them. Literally.
