Re: (backlash)
Andrew said something about some skyway? highway? something like that. It's on the way to deals gap and supposed to be as much fun as the dragon. I guess it's on the way from the DC area.

Re: (bad-monkey)
Deal's Gap (US129) is ****.... when it's not overrun by leaf watchers and trucks. Most cars are ok, but the most scares I ever had were from other idiots on motorcycles. It goes between Tennessee and North Carolina. Most of it is in Tennessee, the last mile or so is in NC. Big difference when you hit the state line, the NC part of the road sucks.
The Skyway, is the Cherohala Skyway. It's alot longer, alot FASTER and alot more open than the Gap is. I went up there with a bunch of ZX-12Rs, it's definitely more big bike friendly than the Gap is. Had a buddy on a 6RR that was waxin my 195rwhp 12R's *** all through the Gap... but just didn't have the motor on the Skyway. Way better rider than I was too. Only thing I didn't like about the Skyway was the amount of blind, decreasing radius turns and guardrails. Not as big a deal on the Gap as you never really ride that fast. But on the Skyway when you're 100+ most the way... it can get pretty scary.
Skyway
Deal's Gap
Hope to make it back there soon, need to try it out on the 'tard
Blue Ridge is cool, however it's far too dangerous as far as the police are concerned. Federal speeding tickets are $$$$.
