i drive a 07-08 fit
im debating what kind of bike rack i should put my car, any suggestions and pics? i bike often so it has to be practical and not that flashy but it is flushed with the body you know what i mean.

I had a trailer hitch installed and have a Swagman platform rack.

It carries 2 bikes nicely, but does stick out quite a bit--I look at it as extra protection for my Fit.
I did not want a roof rack and had a rear hatch rack on a Ford Escort years ago, which damaged both the paint as well as the hatch--maybe the ones today are made better.

I saw a Saris brand rack on a SUV that parks near my office which looked really nice & fit close to the vehicle, but do not know if they make for a 1 1/4" hitch.

is locking on the Thule roof rack any better than Yakima? or can either be pried off and stolen like that? Another reason to go with a trailer hitch mount
