Re: Honda Fit / Jazz (Type X)
I think they'll be priced around $12-16K when they come out. Honda is supposedly gonna start selling these cars here as their answer to Toyota's Scion line of cars, so they'll have to be competitively priced.

Re: Honda Fit / Jazz (DenizenSays)
If it comes out it'll be my next car. What I don't get it is Honda puts independent front suspension on this thing but ditches it on the RSX and Civic. Crazy I tell you. There was an article in an import mag about the spoon modded Fit. They were saying a Fit modded right would hang with rx-7's and what not.
I hope they bring it over. I've been seeing them run around near their North American Head quarters for a few years now.

Re: Honda Fit / Jazz (farside)
Hi
In Finland, jazz is equipped so far only with 1.3l engine, manual transmission or CVT- auto.
61kW (83hp)
119Nm/2800rpm
It weights 1071kg
Jazz LS with 1.3l does 0-100km/h (62mph) in 13sec.
If you want closer information from Jazz, i would gladly tell you more, i work at authorized honda dealer. (In workshop)
The price is here 18.200EUR, so about 22.400USD (Remember Finland's taxes)

No, both of those cars have independent suspensions. Are you talking double-wishbone suspensions?

Re: Honda Fit / Jazz (Twilight)
Hi Twilight,
I received my brand new Jazz last week in Hungary.
I have only one problem the user manual that I've got is not very up-to-date. I have the 1.4LS (1339ccm) version from Jazz.
For example my current user manual does not contain anything about the automatic air conditioning system which is in the car.
Can you send me an official english or german language User manual of Honda Jazz 1.4? (1339ccm version)
Or does anyone else know any source on the net from I can download it?
My most urgent problem is how can I set the clock in the car which is displayed on the radio LCD. According to my not up-to-date user manual TA button should be pressed for 2 seconds and after that time could be adjustable, but this does not work.
Somebody help me!
THX in advance!

that is the civic price range. they'll have to start lower if it is a smaller car. no way will it compete with the aveo and scion at 16grand. plus, people will want a little bit larger car that is a 4-door with a trunk (i.e. civic sedan).

I've heard a few others compare it to the CRX.
-It's lightweight (2300 lbs in 1.5 VTEC form, I belive)
-About the same HP as the CRX (108 in 1.5 VTEC)
-It's small
-Hatchback (kinda)
However, it's tall and a four-door wagon. They do race them, though. A K20 version would be nuts. However, I'd be all over the 1.5 VTEC. I'm not out to win any races - 30+ MPG and a hatchback is what I like about this car.
