Default cruise control : surge?

07, fit sport, 5spd. seems like using cruise i feel slight hesitations as cruise maintains speed on level interstates. kinda jerky, but it is a 2400 lb tin can, and reducing its speed is going to be noticable. also its drive by wire. lemme know if you guys feel this in yours. speeds around 65-75mph

Nope, I can't say that even fully understand what you're talking about. The cruise in my '07 Fit Sport works just like every other Honda cruise control I've ever used.

My Fit's cruise control works excellently. No surging, hesitating nor jerking. Matter of fact, it's even smoother than my own right foot.

Anyways, mine is an automatic. So, I don't know if that makes a difference.
