D16A6, D16Y8, D16Z6... those were all the 'top' engines for each generation. Don't know if there is actually any performance difference though.

Intake manifolds will bolt up, but beware some had mani mounted IACVs, some had firewall mounted IACVs, and some had throttle body IACVs. Pick one that matches your needs (best to match to your ECU).

It sputters when i rev it up but if i take it up slowly it will go up... i switched the ecu from a pm6 to a pm8... i believe that they just switched the block the intake in the picture is for the 8 valve is what i was told....its the smallest one ive ever seen(pictures provided). and when i get the exhaust/intake manifold what years should i go for and i found something that when switching from the hf you have to repin a sensor on the intake mainfold?.... and i was thinking about getting a vtec head.. which head will be best for the zc... i will get the head code it says 93 just gotta see which one again but no vtec.. sorry for all the questions but i was just wondering if/and how much boost it can handle... what will i need for the turbo... and i have to check the timing again but it was was off so i turned the dizzy to the left (passenger side facing dizzy) all the way it got closer but still off a bit.. the tdc marks line up #1 was all the way up.. i will take pictures of everything in the morning... which marks should i check for timing the cam shaft pulley says top and has 3 marks one has white paint which lines up with tdc on the crankshaft... the crankshaft pulley has 4 tiny marks one for tdc and the rest timing i believe... looking from the driver side at the pulley it was far left from the marks before i turned the dizzy but will recheck and update... i drove it about 5 miles home there was no problem just the hesitation and code 1 the o2 sensor... i thought the ecu will fix it but got code 1 after a trip for a brake and lamp inspection... so i looked everywhere found the crack in the exhaust manifold might cause the o2 code and hestation... the crack is long but not spread open... and i just found some jb weld on the intake mainfold its not leaking but wtf haha...sorry for the long page again.. but need all the advice i can get... and where can i get a good wiring diagram? If youve red this far thank for the help

If I remember correctly the z6 and y8 were the best intake manifolds and of the two I believe the y8 was better. Especially for boost

Any of the MPFI manifolds is going to be better than what you currently have. It's choking your engine.

So you went from the correct ECU to one that is meant for an HF? To be more direct, you have a 16 valve head being used with the restrictive intake manifold and fuel maps meant for half the valves. Why would you do that?

Whew! That makes much more sense lol with all else being equal, you may want to swap injectors too. I don't recall off the top of my head but I know that the D15B8 has lower flow rates and the B8 is basically a newer B6.
