D16A6/JDM SOHC ZC lower spark plug tube seals installation?
I have some concerns about installing the lower spark plug tube seals. I've replaced the d15b2 motor with a jdm sohc zc in my 1991 civic. On the ZC I noticed there was hondabond applied with the tube seals whereas there were only the seals on the d15b2. Both motors never had the head assembly removed before me.
So which way is correct? And, should the seals go in dry or do they need to be lightly coated in oil because if one is to use hondabond they should definitely be dry for it adhere.

DO IT ON ALL FOURS

Personally I put them in all afore mentioned ways with great success... I would personally just put the seals and lightly oil them, unless you have the time and money then use HondaBond... The choice is YOURS!

Well, I already have the hondabond from replacing other seals and I have the time, but it sure would be easier to just oil them. Thanks for the input; I guess I'll mull over it a bit to decide what I'll ultimately do.
