Removing Rear Hatch Glass Black Tint
On the race car, it is sometimes tough to see cars when they are right on my bumper because I can't see much through the lower rear glass piece.
I tried scraping at it last night, and it doesn't seem to do much, just little flakes come off, looked like hours and hours of work to do it that way.
Is it a big sticker? If so, is there anyway to get to the end and peel it off without pulling the whole glass piece?

Yes, like i said it's a coating, you'll have to use some acid or something that will eat it off, going to take you a long *** time to get rid of it with a razor blade.
It's the same coating nissan uses on some headlights.. like S13 Silvia headlights.
If he wants to sit inside the car and try scraping the **** off with a razorblade be my guest but we're trying to spare him the labor, pain and give him options.
**** you can probably even be cheap with it and put some Home Depot acrylic there.

Re: Removing Rear Hatch Glass Black Tint
As jrose was saying, I was hoping I could do this and not have to replace the piece, but that seems like the only option. Any recommendations to where/how I can get a quick lexan piece made? I have a shop, I just haven't done this type of work before
