Re: rear sway bar body mounts
If you don't have the stock mounts and you want to use a stock bar you can get creative.
The points where the stock bar mounts are still there, but you need to drill them out and then open a hole inside the car so you can install a fastener to hold the bar on.
I did it with my sedan - LX with ITR rear LCAs and stock CRX sway.

i hear you can also fish some nuts thru the frame at the end with the bumper off.

Re: rear sway bar body mounts
My dx had holes but no threads, so I just drilled through the frame and into the trunk to mount the factory sway bar brackets. I have a oem crx si bar and polyurethane bushings and I love it. I wouldn't recommend going any bigger than stock with this mounting method - the method above is better but I don't have access to a welder. After almost a year I have had no problems.
The rear sway bar was hands down one of the best modifications I have done to the car. Going from no rear bar to even a factory rear bar made a big difference.

Re: rear sway bar body mounts
another look at the ST install. you dont have to take that nut off the shock, just flip the shock around so the nut is on the other side.

but the ST bar and all its hardware is heavy and kludgy. for the money, a Tanabe rear sway bar with stock brackets would be a better fit. the L bracket of the ST kit that mounts to the shock just doesnt really fit properly, allows for rotation. its fixable with modification, but left unmodified its got a lot of potential for binding up.
