Default Quick Clutch Question

I just got a 5 speed tranny for my car. It has the STD 4 speed tranny, will the 4 speed clutch work with the 5 speed tranny? Or do I need to swap the clutchs.

The 5 speed tranny came out of a 1989 Honda Civic Sedan DX, the 4 speed tranny is out of my 1989 Honda Civic Hatchback STD.

I'll be taking the 4 speed out of my car and installing the 5 speed. My question is, do I need to use the 5 speed clutch or will the 4 speed one work?

either one will work, but it would be wise to purchase a new clutch since ur trans will be off unless ur clutch has a lot of life left.
