? i did the swap just fine. you have to remove the engine AND body harness AND dash harness from the donor car and install it into your car. i did it in my 91 lx sedan. then i put that same harness in my buddies 90 dx. you have to re pin the plug from the dx harness to the ex harness that plugs into the rear body harness since the dx is not wired for cruise or power windows. and then ground out the one random pink wire that's left over from the plug swap to get the car to think it's always in park if you use the auto key cylinder. then run two wires from the reverse switch if you use the auto engine harness.
to be honest though it IS much simpler to just do a standard DPFI-MPFI swap using the stock dx harness and adding the injector plugs and the cyp wires. only reason why i did the swap was because my lx came factory auto and at the time i did an obd0 mpfi swap and kept it auto

use the harness that matches the car. then modify as needed. or you can always purchase a conversion harness that will suit your set up
