Default JRSC question -- worth it?

Alright, so a guy local to me is selling his JRSC with everything needed (assuming FMU <--gonna ditch that, all hoses, belts, etc.) for $1000 obo. The unit has less than 1000 miles on it and looks brand spanking new.

Question: I'm in the market for a D-series JRSC, is this is a decent deal for a used but excellent condition unit?

Thanks a lot!

Oh yeah, and I'm planning to run turbo edit/chipped ecu/wideband/etc. later on when/if I get a JRSC installed.

if there's only a thousand miles on it just go to the jackson racing web site and look at how much a new one would cost.

i think it's more than 2000, but you have to ask yourself if the sc really has 1000 mies on it, who puts a sc on their car for only a thousand miles? regardless if it has a thousand or 20 thousand, it's still a good buy.

Are you running these on stock D series motors? Is anyone doing this? What power can a stock D15 take?
