Installed hatch exhaust on sedan
I had a header/cat/catback setup laying around from my old hatch, so I decided to put it on my sedan. All cheapo ebay crap, but it fit very well on the hatch. It was too short from the muffler back to the bumper, so I cut off the tip and I'm trying to decide what tip to put on now. The important part though, the exhaust was too LONG from the cat to the first 90 at the gas tank. After shortening it about 1.5" it fit perfect, and all the hangers lined up perfectly.
To shorten it, I just cut it and had one end expanded at a muffler shop, then slipped it together, bolted it on, and clamped it when it was all bolted together and on the hangers. At some point I'll probably pull it off and weld it.
It's almost as quiet as stock, and there was little to no horsepower gain. Pictures when I have the new tip on.
