has anyone has problems with ACT clutches in b16a
yeah i broke in my clutch just like they said to do. and when it got to around 250 i started jumping on it. now it seems like it is slipping. but i also have LSD so i don't know if it is the LSD slipping or my clutch if there is anyone who knows about this problem or has had it. let me know thanks

i drove around on my clutch for about 400-450 miles before i started getting on it hard.......

u should have atleast given it 350 miles, the recommended is 450-500, u just messed your clutch up. sorry to hear that. they recommend a break in period for a reason

to bad that you guys are wrong. cause ACT sends a letter with the clutch saying 2 to 300 mile break in period. so i gave it the right amount of time. and i figured out the problem. it was just the tires spinning all the way up to 65.

Sounds like it's time to ditch the 165/70/13's General's.

Uhhh well to tewll you the truth the break in period fort a new ACT is 500 miles, read the booklet in the clutch, i have now installed quite a few and they all have said 500 miles.

ACT... ALWAYS CRACKING TRANNYS... Thats waht it stands for.
When I had an ACT clutch and pp in my car, I blew 3 tranny's in a matter of 8 months.
187 ACT FF Organic w/ Extreme PP. Well anyway the break in period on that clutch is approximated at 350 miles.

go with a x-treme pp and a street organic.. the best **** out there.. hehe.. garunteed... and nothing wrong with it.. we broke in our tranny at 600miles.. and it didn't really start to grab till about 1200 miles.. it grabbed after about 600 but you know.. when it hit 1200.. that thing got gears up to 4th squeeling them like crazy... wow.. well i can get someone an act x-treme and street organic for 390 shipped.. vangboy509@hotmail.com
