I guess it will fit, but topspeed ist only 180kph . I would take the speedo from a UKDM EE8, its not exactly the same, but also 9500 rpm and a with mph.

it'll fit with the brackets from the 90-91 and the cluster hood from the 90-91. and it's won't plug and play. doesn't even have the same plugs. you have to rewire. it's not that hard tho.

i've got one of these for sale actually, the one i have was painted blue by previoous Joem owner...will let go for 120 shipped. or it stays in my garage taking up space!

what rewiring needs to be redone? just repinning the harness plugs? i have heard that the speedo cable is in the wrong spot on 88-89's. will the speedo driver on a B16 trans send the right signal or is the one in the cluster electronic?

yup, the JDM SiR cluster needs an electronic VSS signal rather than the 88-91 cable driven speedo
