fuel filter banjo bolt

Default fuel filter banjo bolt

ok i took out the bolt on the filter that holds on the fuel line for the fuel rail, but it wont come off. Their is a what appers to be another bolt with a hole in it that hold it on, any ideas how to get that bolt off??

i tryed bit i cant get the bugger out,got any ideas to make it easyier, also do obd1 fuel rails have that stud thingy that sticks out where the fuel line goes in?? you kno, that thing goes on top of it that looks like a hat?

ugh, i just tried changing the fuel filter in my 88 this past weekend. The banjo bolt under that 12mm "service" bolt is nuts. I had myself and my dad wrenching on it, then even put a wrench on it and smacked it with a hammer and it still didn't come out. I gave up and am just gonna take it somewhere but most people can usually wrench it off with a 17mm open end wrench

17mm deep socket and a breaker bar worked fine for me.

Use a 17 mm (3/8 drive) deep socket with a 3/8 impact. Works everytime!!!!
