Front DS brake not releasing
I have a 91 Civic LX and the front driver side brake is not releasing, its like its always on. The brakes are super-touchy, like they will almost throw you through the windshield when you apply moderate pressure.
The master cylinder was replaced before I got the car. I have replaced the caliper, pads, and brake line with new parts. If I remove the caliper, the wheel spins freely. If its on, the wheel drags.
The slide pins are also new, and greased well with brake lube. I am stumped on this one.

Re: Front DS brake not releasing
The rubber hose was leaking so I replaced it. I replaced the caliper after it started sticking, thinking a new one would fix it. Unless I got a bad one from Oreillys.

Re: Front DS brake not releasing
Another thing I just now remembered, when I went to Oreillys to buy the caliper the guy told me that since my car is a 91, sometimes the parts overlap from one generation to the next. So he ordered me a caliper for a 92 Civic.
Have you ever heard this or is he full of ****? The caliper bolts up fine, the pads fit fine, everything fits.

Does the car pull to one side when you're driving, do you get vibration under brakes? I'm thinking that maybe a warped rotor is causing the rotor surface to jam between he pads as the wheel rotates.
