CRX Tuning/Mod questions
Hey all. Kind of in a bit of a funk. Seems like the D15B2 is just hard to modify, so I have a few questions. (Sorry for my noobness, we all gotta start somewhere)
One, I planned on going turbo with my CRX, but tuning is a problem. I noticed the hondata units aren't compatible with OBD0 ECUs, so there goes that option. Are there any units like this that are compatible with OBD0? If not, what does an OBD1 conversion entail? Can I just get a comparable ECU and a conversion harness or will I need to swap wires around.
Also, any list of simple mods for the a d15b2 would be helpful. Thanks guys!

Re: CRX Tuning/Mod questions
O B D 1 will be ur best friend.. especially if going turbo. you can get away with using turbo edit or bre if doing n/a but i would feel much safer converting obd1 and safe tuning the turbo.
basically you can look at rywire, even ebay has cheap things that will get the job done but i wont vouch for any of them...
distributor + jumper, ecu + jumper, and injectors may or may not be needed

Re: CRX Tuning/Mod questions
There aren't any modifications that will benefit your engine until it is atleast MPFI, so keep that in mind as you tread forward.

Re: CRX Tuning/Mod questions
Thanks. MPFI swap it is, then. Then I will worry about other mods. Problem solved.
